About Us
Bid It
Adieu is me, Kimberly, and all my guys - my husband and our three
sons - the biggest group of supporters anyone could hope for...
Bid It Adieu is also the business translation of
how we live personally. It's about meeting new people, enjoying their
stories and the items from their past hobbies and collections as we assist
in transferring them to new owners. It's about kindness. It's about
exceeding expectations. It's about making someone's day. And most of all -
it's fun.

And the answer to your question is...
"yes, those are my legs!"
I have been a registered eBay
seller since September 2004. In October 2005, I finally got
around to going through baskets of clothing that hadn't sold at our
neighborhood's-end-of-the-summer-garage sale and decided to put a few of the
designer/brand name clothing pieces for sale on eBay. When I sold my
boys' Old Navy and Gap items for $19.50 and up - the same items that I
couldn't sell for 5¢ on the last day of the garage sale - I was hooked!
In
November 2005, after those successful eBay sales, I decided to start my own eBay business. Now, with the
support of my husband and boys I sell the antiques and collectibles of
others without the burden of maintaining a store! I
accept consignments from individuals and businesses in the Toledo, Ohio and
surrounding areas. Bid It Adieu is listed as a registered
eBay Trading Assistant* on
eBay.
We've dabbled in antiques and collectibles for quite some time now... In 1989 my husband and I owned an antique store
and tea
room in historic downtown Lee's Summit, Missouri. "Somewhere in Time" was
open for business 6 days a week. Tea was served in a fancy dining area from 11
to 2, Monday
through Friday, while the rest of our 2,500 square-feet shop offered rooms
full of antiques and collectibles - hand picked from local auctions and
estate sales as well as a few consigned pieces. We also rented booths to fellow
antique dealers, featured quilt shows twice a year and kept a year-round Victorian
Christmas room in the center of the shop. It was fun.

Bid It Adieu's Accomplishments

In August 2006, Bid It Adieu was recognized as a Gold Level PowerSeller in the eBay
community! Gold Level PowerSellers must sell a
minimum of $10,000 per month and maintain at least 98% positive feedback on
transactions.
There are just over 75,000 eBay PowerSellers nationwide.

As the majority of our clientele are between the
ages of 65 and 98 and our primary focus is selling estates before they
become "estates", we are members of the Collectors Society as well as
subscribers to Kovels --- both of which are wonderful resources and aid in
our obtaining the best price for our clients' collectible items.
